Making Fire in Paint.NET

Step one

open a blank page in Paint.NET

(If you don't have Paint.NET go download it for free)



Step two

Go to the top navigation bar and click "effects" then go down to "Render"

Step three

set numbers to what is shown on the example picture and press "ok"

Add another layer

on the new layer click on the gradient tool and create a downward gradient with white at the bottom and black at the top

Click on "Layer Properties" located at the bottom right corner on your layers table

set the mode to multiply and keep the opacity at 255

Step seven

Go to the navigation bar and click on "image" and go down to "flatten" and click.

Then go to the navigation bar and click on "layer" then go down to "Curve" and a window will pop up after you click it.

Step nine

On the window you will have to set the "transfer map" to "RGB"

Then un-check green and blue

set the red bar as shown on the picture

After this un-check the red and check the Green and do the same

Then repeat the step for blue following the image shown.
