I am nt against it.
Just use internet and change ideas, to become a fashion online community, because the seas and oceans between us now.
But do u believe there is a collaboration in fashion industry? Maybe, if people have the same mind and purpose. But if they havent - its a real war.

Hey Ardvisura,
wow, what dose that mean? I think it would be most beneficial to us fashion designers, weather we are starving, established, successful, or stuck in between of any area; to know each other as neighbors or fellow students in our local areas, so that we have a pool to draw from for immediate help, or interaction.... because, for me.. there are times when (late at night - especially ) I get an idea, or start a project that is cool and I run into a situation where I need some advise, or explanation of how to complete a design concept, such as a temple t collar, or some thing regarding garment construction.... and would like to talk so a fellow fashion designer, and I don't know any in my city.... which I know absolutely that there are thousands for me to network with....
Like currently I need (desperately) a fitting model, to fit my clients master patterns for his new collection, as well as a photographer to shot it for my web site... and I have no one I can turn to for help.... even when I run ads on craigs list or facebook.com I get no responses....
I am an engineer, pattern maker at www.patternstudioa.com and I have a lot of work that I could share with other designers to help me sew and make the collections for my clients go, until I get myself in an executive position with one of them, which I'm developing now for a woman in Arizona to do a sleep wear collection, that we are going to need construction sewers, and keep the production in the states instead of going to Mexico or china... I also have a guy in San Diego that is paying me over a thousand dollars a week to develop his collection, before Christmas, so we can do a fashion show here in Atlanta..... but I need a fitting model..... Do you know of anyone that can help me with this stuff? Anyone that I could put to work as a designer that would be my assistant, for a lot of other computer research and development stuff..... I need someone to help me further develop my government procurement profile, so that I can bid on government clothing contracts that pay amazing amounts of money.... if I could get someone to help me do this, and I could get just one contract, I would employ (permanently) at least 5 people with all the benefits of a corporation position... And they don't need to be in Atlanta.... it can all be done online and over the phone... with pay pal and email....
So this is my collaboration with you Ardvisura... please pass it on to your friends and help me help other fashion designers become successful and live their dreams.
thanks. dean
