New techniques?
Posted 2 months ago Does anyone have any techniques they can share, besides acrylic gel medium? I just learned how to use packing tape and citri-solve to create transfers. Citri-Solve: I dont know if I have spelled it correctly, but I think it is a type of cleaner that smellls like oranges and can be found at hardware stores for around 8 bucks or so. Take a clean cloth and damp it with the cleaning agent. Place your transfer image face down on your back piece. Gently rub the solution with the cloth over the image, thus soaking the paper and transfering the image.
Packing tape: tape the image, then emerse the image in soapy water for around 5 minutes. Flip image over and rub away the pulp.
I would love to see images of your work if you used these techniques. I will post mine up when I am done.
