Posted 4 months ago At my technical school, my instructor's specialty is print design. She told us that in order to really get a job in this field, it would most likely be neccessary for us to learn web design. I'm a fast learner, but staring at web design books in Borders is not my cup of tea. Are there any books that teach web design that are worth looking at? I would like to find some for Dreamweaver and so on that will really immerse me in designing for web. |

| Posted 4 months ago CSS Mastery is a good book to help with web design. I am using it right now and it is really helping. |

| Posted 4 months ago Garrick Chow's Hands on Training book and Lynda.com video lessons on dreamweaver have been very good. Suggest also the DreamWeaver CS3 Missing Manual; it's pretty indepth...Audy is correct too; as much as you can wrap your brain around CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) the better it will go for you....(And your teacher is entirely correct- need both skills in graphics today) Good Luck! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6T85cOGc8L0 |
