Whenever I sit down to make a work of art I will use the emotion I am feeling to find the right song and then let it pour out of me into a piece of art. On the other hand, sometime I will look for the music to set my mood and then see what art comes out of it. Is there a certain way you let the music guide your art production, or is it just there as background noise?

I don't use it as background noise but rather a helping hand. There's a tune for so many emotions which is comforting actually :)

Personally, when I work on any given piece I pick a few albums or artists that match the mood of whatever I am trying to convey.  Sometimes it can be a very spiritual ritual...sometimes not, it depends on the music and the mood of the painting/drawing.

MANY TIMES I FIND THAT I START IN ONE MOOD AND PUT MISIC TO THAT PARTICULAR MOOD AND THEN SWICH MOODS IN THE MIDDLE, CHANGE THE MISIC, AND IT HELPS ME TO MIX WHAT WOULD NORMALY CLASH IN TO SOMETHING BRILLANT.
