Watermarks... HELP ME!!!

Posted 2 months ago I need to start Watermarking my images on my modeling sites (unfortunately)... never was really into them but now it's become an important necessity on the more active sites. NOW... HELP... A, B, or C???

| Posted 2 months ago A is okay. I, myself, (if I was really worried about it), would fill in all the meta info in Photoshop. File > File info... (this data can be used to identify and track images) then just stick a "©your name 2008" in corner of the image, using the "A" style. If I was super worried about it, I'd only publish small low res versions of the image (think gettyimages) in addition to meta tagging and signing the image. There's also these guys. They make something similar to the xmp tool under the file menu in Photoshop (File info...) I mentally ka-ching at the idea of someone taking my art and calling it their own. The day I have to get an attorney and file a DMCA will be the day I know I have finally "arrived". |

It actually has nothing to do with people "stealing" images (they're all low res anyway)... it's just a way to get my name out there more. One of the major sites I'm on now allows users to add my images to "favorites" lists for more exposure. | Posted 2 months ago If they allow you to supply "alternate text" when posting your image, be sure to add your name there. This is invisible except when images are turned off in the users browser. Web spiders read and record alternate text;-- an excellent way to propagate your name. |

I like B, less intrusive, and Gio, got to love it. My 2 cents worth. If you make gio with thinner banner like A, then that would be my choice. If not then A.
