Posted 3 months ago Hey after my Artbistro friends suggestions, I decided to open a new creative discussion topic Club with 40+ Moms and Dads, so we could share our same thoughts and lives but privately. I Hope Brandy, Blackwolf, Abuxbaum, Janice, grumbleboy, dmweiman, faithhopefreedom, Nanisis, edie, ejcawth, joren, brokencolor, d917 and crys, can continue with this one thanks for participating at the other club, hope to see U all. thanks |

| Posted 3 months ago Happy to be a part of this group. Not too happy about falling into the age group but happy to be a mom & an artist. |

| Posted 3 months ago I found you :) You probably could start a group related to sharing the experience and resources for 40+ Art Moms and Dads Club members. There are folks here who share real issues like special needs kids as well as the ongoing social stuff related to everyone's kids. Just a thought... Oh look, there are points all over the ground! They must be worth a lot if they are so easy to pick up. ;-) |

| Posted 3 months ago We're on the same page. I posted the same thoughts on the previous topic of over 40 artist moms since we had some new posts in there hoping to keep us all together. Alba, I don't want to step on anyone's toes but I 'd be happy to set us up as a group, if you would like. |

| Posted 3 months ago I have two girls 16 and 8 and I like to see my daughters taking an interest in the artistic side of life. They love music but do not play instruments yet. My little Nene bird is a good drawer allready so I will wait and see......... |

Okay alba... so is this referring to this public thread in Art and Money or have you started a Group and then not send out invites via the pm system??? Starting a new group is easy, and making it private is just a click for the group creator... Oh look, there are points all over the ground! They must be worth a lot if they are so easy to pick up. ;-) |

| Posted 2 months ago Jen I didn't get any public thread in Art and Money. It was just a suggestion from a member. I didn't know how to publish it inviting everyone, maybe I did something wrong? just let me know how to invite everyone. thanks Alba |

| Posted 2 months ago Hi alba, This, THIS, which you are now reading is NOT a group, but a public thread which you have published under theGeneral Forums: Art and Money header(look up at the blue type at the top of this page) Which, by the way is okay if you do not want to make an official group. No pressure :) You just confused me talking about a Group and private discussions. But if you want to: To make a group first hit the Groups tab at the top of the page and there is a button on that page to make a new group, hit it. Make your group. Decide whether it will be private or public - private groups can have members join by a) direction invitation from you, the moderator or by b) asking to join the group themselves and having you as moderator "approve" their request. You will also have a tab there where you can invite anyone (whole list or select individuals you know to be parents) on your friends list to join the group via a group message. It is easy, not at all complicated once you are there and see the buttons/tabs. Then once people are in the group you can "group message" them about new threads or issues if you want since they will not show up on the Public forum"most recent" list or whatever. Oh look, there are points all over the ground! They must be worth a lot if they are so easy to pick up. ;-) |
