Posted 4 months ago Members have contributed perhaps hundreds of videos that can quickly become buried by others. Do you have any favorites that you would recommend? Please do not recommend your own. Leave a link to it with your comment so we can view it easily. Perhaps the link from the artbistro video page. Thanks. | Posted 4 months ago Aardman Animations: The Deadline, an early short Aardman animation from the studio that brought you Creature Comforts, and Wallace and Grommet among others. Even at this stage you can see the unique way they animate speech movements of the mouth. Lunarc submitted this this 5 months ago. Thanks! http://www.artbistro.com/videos/182-aardman-animations-the-deadline

| Posted 4 months ago Great idea, I'll have to think about it. I often wonder when I load something if someone has loaded it before. For instance, today you loaded the singing Hippo video I loaded in November - went to look for it in my video list - has been removed due to violation of terms of use. ???? mine or video egg's, I don't know, whatever. Glad the hippo is back anyway :) the same group has some other cool short videos too, not sure if those have been removed or not from my video list. ??? Anyway, brings me to one way I watch videos on occasion, kind of like recommendations. I go to friends profiles who seem to have similar interests or senses of humor, go to their activity tab, video tab.... there are all their picks. Just an idea.
Oh look, there are points all over the ground! They must be worth a lot if they are so easy to pick up. ;-) |

| Posted 4 months ago Janice. Thanks for the feedback. I have a Members News Recommendations Topic going also. I haven't had any videos removed so far. I don't use video egg or have videos going back much over a month. Maybe thats why. I did have problems with the New York Times in the news section. I like that Hippo, although its not the complete song. Perhaps its not possible to post a video if its still on the site? We'll see how long this one lasts. Looking at friends profiles videos is a good idea. I also like going back through old video and news posts in those sections. It might be a way to see unfamiliar members, gives an overview, and is fairly quick. Although I haven't gone through all the news and video posts yet.

| Posted 3 months ago Thanks Janice or noticing. She is very gifted. I have submitted a couple of articles about her. I think graphic designers know her, but I was thinking of adding Scher to the Underrated or Overlooked Artists topic: http://www.artbistro.com/topics/3152-underrated-or-overlooked-artists/posts Does anyone else have any comments or contributions to offer? There are many good buried videos that members have submitted. |

| Posted about 1 month ago At least half of the videos submitted in the last 9 months have been uploaded in the last month. A Patrick Hughes Reverspective Painting Submitted by Blue Star about 2 months ago. This is an interesting look at a painting that turns out to be a sculpture as well. "Strange and cool" is how one observer from artbistro commented on this video. It encouraged me to look at more of his work. Thanks Blue Star. | Posted 21 days ago Surreal Art Of Mark Ryden & Lori Earley Danny Elfman sounds Submitted by Anjela Lee about two months ago. These are two important artists in the pop surrealist movement if I have my terms right. Correct me if I'm wrong. Some images are almost quaint in a macabre Victorian style, others are more disturbing. Good soundtrack. Thanks Anjela Lee.
