Posted 2 months ago Applebee's new logo change is definitely a downturn. What the heck were they/their designer thinking? It's horrendous. I guess that's the same way I felt when they changed the Great Grains boxes to some drop-shadowed, transparency-laden eyesore. Just an observation. |

| Posted about 1 month ago It doesn't seem that different to me, I think the placement of the apple is a little better, but the Cooper font at the bottom that says "together is good" looks kind of tacky, it clashes with the "applebee's" font ... and I really don't like that slogan, it sounds stupid. |

QVC's new logo on the other hand, oh man, i cant stop looking at it. its so pretty Screw it, I'm working in cicéros from now on. |

| Posted about 1 month ago I have noticed a Wendy or two that have gotten rid of the Wendy's girl on their logo. See what happens when the founder up and dies. Poor ol' Dave. That is a good one. I agree wholreheartedly with the comments about the Animal Planet logo. I remember a "WTF" popping up above my head the other day when I saw the Crocodile Hunter on a friend's TV (I don't pay for cable). The rotation of the M is what makes it especially nasty. Does nothing to relate to the subject matter at hand. That must've been an idea the board of directors cropped up and wouldn't let go of, and the designer had to take the brunt of it. Otherwise, they're total idiots, and their graphic designer is equally so. |
