I go with country too, I love nature.. grassy hills, hanging clouds, no sounds of man or machine.. just nature. Peaceful and breathtaking.

Gotta go with country as well, the city has a lot to offer, but I've grown up near cities. I like the quiet and slower pace of "God's Country" And to quote Mr Gekko, I lke my friends with four legs. Some are smarter than most of the two legged ones I know....lol

I miss the art scene and friends in the city, but I prefer the country.

Everything. There is art in everything.

I agree. In the coutnry you get natural colors and animals and it's just so much different from the city there's no comparison. But the city has so much different shapes and colors of its own.

The country. I grew up in the country side of Tennessee and so I guess you could say it's in my blood to love the wonderful country side.

everything about the city, like Andy Warhol said it's just so "pop" and i love it

but there's so many pieces of landscapes and such, and that's great, but nature -i believe- is better in person. it doesn't inspire my style so to speak...

I grew up in the country in East Tennessee. Country living definitely inspires me much more. I live in the grand city of Nashville, now; and it seems that day by day by creativity weakens. Time for a trip to the country, lol.

In general, I prefer the country.

With regards to city, it all depends on the atmosphere.

Urban art man, thats my scene. Graffitti, smog, industrialization, the 'man', impovershed people, cars zooming by, advertisements left and right. You can find real character anywhere, but for me it sticks most in a big city with big people, and big buildings, big names, big everything you can think of. I love it

I have to say, intellectually the city, the energy and mesh of transcient consciousness mixed up into one big pallet. I am a writer first and foremost, but hand isn't that bad, but human and the nature and mystery of men and the world  intrigue me, and yet make me cringe. It's the playwright and the poet in me.  But Pittsburgh was a nice medium, plenty of city and human trinkets to play with, and plenty of woods and nature. It is a great place with allot of character... now I am in Williamsburg Va. and the folk around here are like grits... add a little pepper to spice them up and a bit too much in their tradition, and social custums for my liking so, I have to say I like the city.
