Billy Joel's Piano Man is a great song and it makes me think of irish pubs in Dublin and Cork.

I think the less we can remember about the music in a film, the better, no? It should never be something more than music in the background. That is what MTV is for. I find that when I listen to soundtracks, I can barely place the song. As I listen to the music, I find no syntax to the memory of the fim. Hey, that's just me, eh?
Have a great weekend everybody.

I love you Chubman (Colin) but, watch your favorite film with out sound for about 10 minutes. I think you will change your mind. Music is critical to most "Classic Films".

Where would Star Wars, Jaws, Indiana Jones be without the music?

Clockwork Orange

I see skies of blue, clouds of white.
Bright blessed days, dark sacred nights.
And I think to myself:
"Damn I hope a plane spots my raft soon."

Forrest Gump Soundtrack and Gardenstate Soundtrack tops my list. also, the soundtrack for Unfaithful isn't too bad, very interesting to say the least.

The Life Aquatic soundtrack is fantastic. There is a guy in that movie who plays acoustic guitar and sings David Bowie tunes in portuguese... His characters name is Pele' but his real name is Sou' Jorge...he is fantastic!

Gladiator

The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be.
