Only if I could get my husband and kids to come too, and it wasn't further North.... but that said Yes indeed, making me an offer? ;-) USA would be best, but certain European destinations would not be out of the question 8-D

I would. Its just me, and my friends know me by now that they would come and visit. You can't let the people around you control what you do. You have to do whats going to be good for you in the long run. :)

I guess God has created this universe to be explored... and to feel & discover His Alimightyness, Greatness...And all nature arround us and everywhere and existents are source of inspiration and exposure for an artist... SO artist should'nt restricte, bound theirsleves for any piece of land, raceism, materialism or any other limitness... So as I think they should be international peace ambasadors...they should be a model by doing/performing all moralities, humanities, peace jestures theirsleves... All international governments should realize their intensions... Artist are indeticals of peace all arround and everwhere.....May God bless this planet with all happiness, peace and eternal love....for all existents...Al-Naqqash

If I could take one person with me -- anywhere in the USA or Canada would be awesome! I'm used to moving around, and I am bored of California.

If he couldn't come, then I would be in a pickle. :(

My husband and I have lived in a couple of different states due to the nature of his work. I can do mine anywhere. We're facing another possible move now, so this topic jumped out at me. So yes, definitely, we go where the work is. Leaving family and friends behind is very hard, but you do what you have to do.

It would be hard for me to leave Colorado, it is the most wonderful place on earth. If I did leave for professional advancement I would eventually return to stay right here in Colorado.

Earlier in my life, probably yes - today, no. I like it here in TN, and this is where my daughter and grandsons are, so why move? Some things just aren't worth the money, no matter how much it is. This is one of 'em.

I don't have my own family or wife or girlfriend right now, so it wouldn't be difficult. I am very much considering relocating because of the poor job market in Milwaukee. Chicago is much better, but I have an urge to get out of the Midwest, as even smaller cities on the east coast like Boston and D.C. get more attention than bigger cities out here. I recently visited Boston/NYC and found them to be a total blast. I would want to live in a quieter neighborhood of NJ or upstate NY though, due to living costs.

I've moved for less than that! My hubby and I now live in MA, and I hate it here. We're talking about moving to FL (where I grew up), and some of his family may come with us. This is because where we are, there aren't a lot of jobs, unless you're in healthcare. And for what we can get for work here, we can only afford to live in one of the worst cities in the state (Springfield). With the cost of living in FL, with what I can make there (actually more than I'm making now), I can live in a very nice neighborhood. For example, for $850/mo. I rent a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath duplex in Springfield. For that same amount of money, I can rent a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house in Palm Coast. The schools in Springfield, MA are rated a 2 out of 10 on greatschools.net, while the Palm Coast schools are rated a 7 out of 10 (I have kids, so this is major). I know though, that once I'm back home in FL, I'm never leaving.

The benefit of being young and single is that I am just dying to show the world what I can do.  With the ability to speak different languages, I have actually been actively looking for jobs in other countries (Primary in Asia)  So relocation, or even just traveling for work is something I am very excited about because of all the exciting things you get to do and experience.

I am looking to relocate, simply because Artist from performance to visual are being suffocated here both by the government and the art associats. As a seriouse entrepreneur living in St. Lucia the only option for me is to travel to a more open horizon. Luckily I am also a british citizen and a Caricom national, So I am not limited to the places that I may in time relocate to. And my prime minister is called Stephenson King and i sure do need to get away from this atmosphere. With electronic commucation its easy to keep up with friends and family. And there are locations and people all over that would have new incite for the artist in general so I think that traveling is important. Ive been traveling from a young age and I definatly think it broadens the mind. The best things is research the country that you intend to move to. Possibly finding a job before relocation. If you have familly or friends elsewhere its a bonus

Yes, I am ready to relocate. I want a new job. One that is exciting and challenging, and pays more than I make now. The icing on the cake would be if the new location was someplace beautiful;-- coastal, mountain or desert, anyplace that doesn't have corn and beans as far as the eye can see.

shoot, relocate? how would i do that without getting a divorce first? as it is now, i drive 2 1/2 hours just to get to work and end up having to stay 4 days out of seven. my husband has his own busines and it's not the type we could just pick up and move.

i teach because i am good at what i do. i know how to motivate students and get the results they want.

i would love to move....but at this point, not going to happen..

Yes. especially in the art/fashion industry work can be hard to find. but if it's outside of the U.S. i probably won't unless it's for a short period of time.
