Posted 11 months ago Being a poor college student, I usually buy acrylic tubes that are on sale, which can lead to them not being as thick of a paint as you would like. I found that taking the thinner acrylics and mixing them with gel medium provides a nice foundation to then work with. Also, make sure you get a clear gel medium so that it doesn't alter your hue. |

| Posted 10 months ago Liquitex offers alot of versatility. You can use thick gel like strokes or dilute it to create a thin coat |
