CONTE' CRAYONS ARE DEFINITELY MY FAVORITE HELPERS WHEN I WANT TO DRAW SOMETHING WITH TOTAL FREEDOM OF MOVEMENTS...THEY ARE GREAT !

Great subtle tool. I have used it to copy Goya and Degas, as well as for my own work. I like using it on a paper with a tooth to it.

these are a good medium for "monotoned" pictures ... they provide a bit of a gradation in the limited colours that are available ... conte has a nice effect to it

Great drawing sticks! Harder than pastel but softer than graphite. Great for quick studies, limited colors.
