I have used these markers for years, not just for art, but work, theater and anything and or anything. It's long lasting, strong and works very well with all medium. Comes in a variety of sizes from the broadest fattest tip, to a true fine line for detailing. From mini size, retractable, or the larger than a pencil heavy, thick marker. They have also introduced more colors than just the standard Black, green, navy and red that you have grown used to over the years. Its's a wonderful and inexpensive product that you can get practically anywhere. I believe everyone has at least one.

I use fine point when I have to do large demos on a wall when teaching art and cartooning, and extra fine point for smaller drawing. Good loose line qualities. I'm still looking at how archival they are for pen and ink drawing. I usually use dip pens for cartooning and illustration.

Sharpie Markers are the best - but they are way to expensive for what they are.

I like to use sharpies because they seem to last forever. They come in convenient sizes too like the mini's - I love the mini's.

These markers are fantastic, unfortunately they tend to bleed through paper.. and if your not careful they bleed right onto your nice clean tabletop (or whatever your drawing on).. *try the Bic Mark-its.. they too have a vast arrangement of colors. I find that they also don't bleed quite as much*

it is great that they finally came out with more colors but some of the caps are brighter than the actual color in the marker... but other than that they are great to use
