| Description: | 7.1 Megapixels, 3x Opital Zoom ans SD card slot (a 2GB card will take over 1500 pictures at 7.1 mp. Very average camera, You won't find things that are available on some pricier point-and-shoot cameras, such as image stabilization, manual controls, and a panorama mode. A good camera for basic to moderate use. |
I bought this because it was advertised for $149.99 with the printer dock. The camera sells for $149.99 alone, the printer dock would be another $80.00. I saved myself about $80-90 dollars. It is limited in features. I like to be able to see the final picture and if I don't like it then I delete it. I just came back from Hawaii and it was very important to have a camera that would give me long lasting images of Honolulu and the Island of Oahu. I would recommend this camera but look at the features carefully.
This product is printing good as far as the printing goes. The camera that came with it ones out of batteries very quickly and as far as lighting is not that great. Also the video mode should not be shot at night because it is not easy to control the lighting.
Takes good pix. But it is Not easy to share. Their software takes up a lot of space, is hard to read because the print in light. Requires that I send my fotos to them in order to share them. I want to send them directly by email or to ArtBistro. Can't do it. I don't want to print them. I don't want to buy anything.
I have always worked with a 33mm. I love it. I have many slides. But broke my projector. Now Kodak stopped making them. Artists need open doors, not stumbling blocks. Got it, Kodak? CA Howell
This camera can take some nice pictures, but it requires some skill and time, and other times there is no getting the picture you want (like a shot of the amazing bioluminescing jellyfish at the aquarium... err) so I wouldn't recommend it. I think it is made for the more casual photographer who just wants a nice shot of the family at Disneyland or a montage of the annual Christmas party. For these uses, it is a great camera, but for the more artistic shots, I'd go with something else.
