comfortable in hand, smooth flowing sharp lines, won't smudge.
The Micron pens are great for line work. I rarely use anything else because of the quality, even if they are a bit pricey.
Really good pens. Other than the fact that the tip will be pushed in if your too rough with them. Great for line art and technical detail.

Blows ZIG Millennium pens out of the water. I thought I was working with two black pens on one project and come to find out ZIG Millennium black pens are not black. They're really dark purple. You can't get any more black than the Pigma Microns. On my profile there should be a guy with a car. I actually mixed in ink with graphite to get an ultimate black which forced a more accurate contrast ratio. Still working on a transition method. Crosshatching, stippling just isn't cutting it. Any ideas please let me know.
Wonderfully smooth pens that don't skip and give good, clean lines.
In this day of having to scan original drawings, and getting it into the computer for further work, these Pigma Micron pens are the best drawing tools to get a clean black line onto a paper drawing. The black ink is nice and opaque. The best thing is that you don't have to reload them, or try to clean them out. When they run low on ink, you can get another one, and use the older ones for regular writing, until they run out of ink.
excellent pens
Nothing beats a repidograph or a quill or a brush. Next best thing: Microns!
