Aperture is great! If you don't want to spend a load of money on photoshop and still want to do a lot wiith your photos. It's very user-friendly and easy to custom to your needs.

This is a great affordable program. You can keep your projects super organized. I think this is a program that an amateur or professional could be happy investing in. I am still learning the program, but I am also still learning Apple, I was a windows gal until recently :)
