Once again, for the money, this is a nice tripod to have. It's very durable and is easy to set up and easy to take down. The quick release plate is very good to have if you're in a hurry and need to set up and get out fast. Check around on the price because, depending on where you go will depend on the price you pay,

I don't have this brand, but am looking to get a new tripod. I like the quick release feature. I One use I have for a tripod is to take pictures of my art.

I've been using one for years. It fits in a carryon suitcase and is quick to open and quicker to close, holds just about anything including lights.
