| Description: | Classic childhood art medium, crayons range from basic hues to a large variety of colors. |
One of the most basic tools, especially for young, budding artists and children developing their artistic skills. Crayola crayons have one of the best consistencies and blend well as compared to other brands.
I enjoy using crayons especially crayola.
The colors have been so vibrant through the years and I have used them including the nubs when I melted them down and painted with them on a canvas board. There have been color changes over the years and I bought one that had all the original colors that I am saving as some of those colors exists no more.
They are ok for what they are, my students use oil pastels instead. As do I (and chalk pastels).
They are good for some kinds of art projects but they washable ones are the gest so that if you have your supplies laying around and your child gets ahold of them!
no..
every child should have them... but they are hell to get off the walls
I love Crayola! They bring out the kid in me. Plus they are very good quality for a very good price--at least for work I do for the pure simple joy. I especially like using wax crayons in my watercolor work, as wax is resistent to the paint and the color will show through. Try it!
It never pleased my art teachers for figure drawing class when I would break these babies out, but when I was drawing with both hands, I could really get a lot of lines down without resharpening something every minute or going through boxes of conte crayons, or getting charcoal dust all over hell. For me, these crayons represent the basic human urge to draw and color, and if you lose that childlike drive, go be a lawyer and make some money.
I have a couple of large coffee cans full of these crayons and are very good for just about anything.
i can't imagine a better crayon. crayola produces an incredibly broad range of colors, they are easy to use, and they're a favorite of kids and me.
still the cream of the crop in crayons!
It's a classic!
Gotta love them!
Always tons of fun! just don't eat them!
they've been around for a while for a reason.
