Ideal for cutting out when bottom side
sticked with paper tape to prevent glide.
I gave up all other rulers when I got this one and it hangs on the side of my drafting table on a cup hook so I know where to find it when I need it. I put spaced pennies on the underside that i am not using so I can use my ink pens with it and create no smear from moving it around.
Love it for ink work, it makes solid lines and with a repidagraph pen it has a lifted edge that prevents it from smearing.

I'm a very technical artist and I like using the ruler very often unless of course I decide to do something different and be abstract that day
This is a must have, I like the ones with the cork backing.
a must have tool. the markings tend to rub off, however.
Lifted edge is a must.
These are wonderful any of my other ones the kids take and break them, well they are not strong enough to break these!
sometimes we have to stay in the lines.. nothing like a great ruler to help out!
So useful! So many sizes at an affordable price that i've bought at least 4 and take at least one with me everywhere.
use a hook on the wall to store them, or they will eventually bend out of shape.
affordable and comes in numerous sizes that fit many needs. Can't beat it.
You really can't mess it up. And it works wonders as a straight edge.
works wonders as a straight edge, but I have had problems with the numbering getting worn off.
very handy. good for my drafting stuff and projects. Especially in the cutting department.
The metal does much better than the wood ruler for sharp lines. The hole to hang it is a nice extra
Great product for every studio of any kind...only problem is you really need to run a couple layers of masking tape on whichever side you deem to be the "bottom" to keep ink from bleeding under the edge.
depends on which one you get. i had one in my backpack and i carried it everywhere until it bent. it wasn't sturdy enough. what good is a ruler if it's not straight. my new one is good though. is would be better to review if they displayed all of the available rulers so i have to stay in the middle on this one.
