Our Striping & Lettering Enamel is designed for striping, lettering and airbrush artwork. They feature high pigmentation, low solids for a minimal edge and long open time. Apply over existing fi nishes or topcoat with a Klear for a smooth, durable fi nish. Our Striping & Lettering Enamel may be top-coated with acrylic lacquer, urethane enamel, acrylic enamel or alkyd enamel clears. This system is complete with its own reducer (U00), catalyst (KU200) and clear (UC03). • House of Kolor® striping urethanes dry within minutes compared to the hour-long wait that has been a tradition with oil based striping paints. • House of Kolor® striping urethanes are fully compatible with the House of Kolor® system and don’t require an isocyanate catalyst when clear-coating. • The 36 colors currently available in the House of Kolor® striping urethanes allow the artist to mix and match any color desired for pinstriping. • House of Kolor® striping colors can be intensifi ed with our Kandy Koncentrates to increase the intensity of a color, or blended with UC03 striping clear to increase a color's transparency. • House of Kolor® striping urethanes can be mixed with UC03 striping clear and a bit of catalyst, allowing them to be used on top of the clear just like a single stage paint. • House of Kolor® striping urethanes do not form skins within the can, eliminating product loss while making sure you are using good product. • House of Kolor® striping urethanes are less toxic then the alkyd enamels. • House of Kolor® striping urethanes can easily be reduced for airbrushing, without compromising the structural integrity of the paint, adhesion, durability, or overall cure time.
