This is a flash that Canon has discontinued, HOWEVER, you can still find many on the web. It is a great flash for the new and amatuer photographer. It is much, much better than just the pop-up flash on a camera. It's simple to use and has a wide range to up to 105mm. Works best in daylight if you have a diffuser on it, but still captures the special moments you're looking for. The battery life is good too. I have not counted how many flash's I can get in the 4 AA batteries it needs, but it lasts a long time. Great Flash for getting started, and for the money, even better.
