Those were the most, man. You get the precision of technical pens in a disposable form that you didn't have to clean and you didn't have to care for.

There were drawbacks; the cartridges were *very* sensitive to pressure changes and were prone to leaking if you didn't stow them upright. But the Rapido* line required care and feeding regardless. The price was definitely right.
