| Description: | High pigment oil paint |
I have used many brands of oils, even the "higher quality" expensive name brands. I was first introduced to Utrecht brand by my painting instructor, who uses these exclusively. Now I do too. They have a high pigment value and stand the test of time.
great product, but I prefer gamblin, which isnt on this rating thing
Pound for pound, this paint is on par with any professional grade oil paint in pigment concentration, suspension and purity and it is affordable! A great product at a great price. I also like how this paint doesn't seem to have such a separation from the binder in the tube.
These paint seems to work well.
I don't really like the oils, but these are some pretty good ones to use for mixed media purposes as well as getting at photo-realistic look for some of those very talented few who can still do portraits.
least expensive, great colors and works really well with my paintings.. I love Utrecht oil paints! and the prices are from 4.95 and up....or at least they're these prices where I shop...
I just recently started using these paints and I am very satisfied with this product.
I did not think I was going to be as impressed but there is no separtation and seem to be well made.
I've used these oils for more years than I care to admit (lots!) and I find no need for others except if I can't find a particular pigment.
Utrecht produces quality paint at an affordable price. I use it for large tubes of white, black and earths.
When I used it, the paint seemed too oily, and had a cheap feel. Perhaps they have improved? I still have a couple of tubes, but I have not bought any for some time.
cause this is a good product
