Oh Man!!!The possibilities of creating nurbs/poly/mesh based models of all nature be it 'Organic,Mechanical.Real Technical Designs like CAD,Product design,Jewely,Architecture,Human figures,logos,abstract etc' this affordable yet Highly Efficient Functionalty tool is a must for any 3d artist.The interface is customisable,learning curve a bit difficult for absolute beginners but you'll get around it very fast.Basically its a NURBS based 3d tool but also uses PolyGons or Primitives as Mesh and allows conversion of polygons & mesh into nurbs and vice versa.Using the layers one can create almost anything with its flexible nurbs and booleans.It comes with with the excellent Renderman's POV rendering engine integrated and it shows its brilliance once you start using the plug-ins of rendering called Flamingo and Penguin.Now the new release is compatible with much needed openGL & Autodesk's plugins.Creating a Virtual Walkthru or A VRML scene is easy using the animation plug-in free download at the home site.I have been using it since the past 5 years and still can't get enough of it.I love it.

Easy to use. User friendly!

I actually first worked with this software back when it was still in beta. Then I used version 1 for a time. I never worked with version 2, but most recently got some experience with version 3 of it. This is good software, quite easy to work with, and most important for me the export features work quite well. I say that, since I really don't use this software for any rendering, but just to model props that I then use in other software for rendering.
