This lense is the ultimate workhorse. If you are a person who perfers primes to zooms. Please exit from this review "Magna Cum Celeritate". If not pull up a chair. This oddly enough was the third lense I purchased after my 70-200 f2.8 and the 17-40 f4. For a shutermite like myself primes are not practical. My job description changes daily. I need lenses that can do the same. There isn't a better lense for the money out there. I recommend this lense to the person who does not do a lot of flash-work and who is constantly in low-light situations. You can also utilize the low apature for amazing effects.
