| Description: | Software used to create vector artwork. Industry-standard drawing tools. Tight integration with other Adobe applications. |
a must for any graphic designer.
Though it seems to have a monopoly / mass market share in the vector graphic sector, I can find few reasons to complain.
Not many days go by that I do not use Illustrator. It's a very powerful tool that has much more versatility than the average user may know. I spend a lot of free time experimenting and learning about all the different ways to use each tool. Not many of the tools are limited to one use.
If I had to give away every program besides one, illustrator would definitely be my pick. Someone can bring me an idea and I can have it put into shape within minutes. I enjoy how the illustrator program has progressed over the years. Live Trace/Live Paint editions in the CS2 version were simply amazing in my opinion, and CS3 continues to amaze.
the best there is for illustrating on computers, love it!
sooooo gooooood!
I have been using Illustrator for over a year now and I am still learning new things in it everyday. On my off days from work I am working in it to make me even better than I am .
Great product, must have for the heavy duty designer. Great new features.
I am still re-learning this program but it is a must have product. I will master this like my photoshop skills soon.
a great addition to the adobe line
The Adobe Suites are the best thing invented since sliced bread! They ROCK HARD!
There are so many things you can do in illustrator, that you probably didn't even know it could do. I just keep playing with it and learn new things all the time. Excellent tool for any graphic designer.
having used Illustrator 8, 9 & 10, this by far is the best version yet...it's ease of use allows the user to do most anything, it's my software of choice for most projects
Is there any other vector based tool out there? well it doesnt matter because this one is the best. I use it almost everyday. A++
Easy to use, a must have!
wish I could afford it!
This is a great program to create smooth vector based graphics. A little tricky at first if you're used to programs like photoshop and paint shop pro. But once you get the hang of things it really can be used well.
I live by this program
I really enjoy using this program.
This app is beautiful for graphic designers
This version of Illustrator CS is a big improvement over the last version as far as work flow is concerned. All the tools are docked so you don't have to deal with floating sections getting in the way of work. My only complaint is that it seems buggy when I'm using something like the star drawing tool and I try to add points by pressing up or down (worked in past versions) the program locks up or adds 10 points when I just want one. Anyway other than that it's great I just have to do some things the long way.
I have the CS and cannot wait to upgrade to CS3. Every one seems to love it. I'm interested in checking out the LIVE TRACE features
This is most defiantly the easiest Adobe program, and it's my favorite one. :)
I couldn't live without Illustrator
I love to use Illustrator except for the fact that I don't find it as easy to use when you're first learning how to set up gradients and working with colors on the pallete. There might be some work to do for the developers in that area, otherwise, I've had a blast with this program and HIGHLY recommend it to any Graphic Artist!
Love it! It just keep getting better & better
I'm a fan of this software!
Is been such a great release for me to use this software and put my drawings in use with it.
thanks that program exists
Indispensable
And Adobe does it again, outdoing themselves in a spectacular show of completeness, depth, and breadth of features, executed thanks to the wonderful advances in technology this tool dares to flaunt.
A very helpfull tool
I love to pair Illustrator with PhotoShop to achieve desired results.
Love it, use it, it is great for everything, it is one of the most versatile tools in the Graphic Designers tool box.
I have used earlier versions of Illustrator and I have used Corel Draw…
I like Adobe Illustrator CS3 hands down! and the way it interfaces with Photoshop and Indesign, WOW!
You must, must, must know this program. And be fluent in it.
Plus, it's great.
As a designer of prints and tee shirt graphics for clothing and display and packaging graphics, I can't live without Adobe Illustrator. Using this program has changed my life.
Better user layout. An upgrade must for CS2 users
not a huge illustrator fan but love the new cs3 version!
I use to hate Illustrator becasue I had a class at school and we had to lear how to use the "dreaded" pen tool to complete the entire project. After I completed the lable recreation project I was in love with the pen tool. You will probably notice that if you look at some of the pieces that I have posted.
Most user friendly vector based software. Great for basic vector designing. Get too complicated and your looking at 1gig+ files, which equates to sluggish editing.
If you are a true graphic designer then this is a must!
I honestly couldn't live without it!
From it's ability to create breath-taking vector graphics to it's tightly integration across all of Adobe's programs, this program is a absolute necessity for the graphic artist
I am still trying to learn all the tools! Anything you want to do, it is possible!
Love this software - I particularly like the new eraser feature with CS3. Great, extremely versatile software
I don't know, because I have not reviewed this product.I punched on the product and it took me to this page.
excellent to work with, particularly when dealing with both photoshop cs3 and illustrator cs3. the best tool to work with vectors i have seen so far.
fullfill to a graphic designer
No other vector software touches this industry standard- An absolute must!
Without a doubt, the best vector program on the market.
Illustrator is easy to use and allows for design flexibility.
I just came back to Illustrator after using Freehand for years and it's pretty much how I remember it, but with great new tools like photoshop effects and 3d effects. Great for charts and graphs as well as vector-based art!
gotta get it!
