Once I tried golden acrylics, nothing else has been up to par. I really like this paint.

I use Utrecht paints for the most part but Golden makes some of the colors i am unable to get elcewere - I LOVE - Zink white and Naples yellow and you can only find them in Golden -- I love the viscosity of the paint - people think I'm working in oil !!!

With Golden I get resulits that I am normally not able to get with other acrylic brands. I generally like to dilute my paints to create thin washes. With Golden I get the consistency that I'm looking for without it lumping up. I especially like Golden's selection of irredecent colors which I like to mix with flat to achieve my result.

The price is a hurdle, but the paints are really great. I tend to use less of these and make them go further. Try working them into the price of a painting and adding them to your palette as you go! They are well worth having in your studio!

This paint is the best, very smooth and covers well.

Great paint. I get the colors I want to out of this brand. If I want bright colors which is evident in my works, this usually gives me the intensity that I am looking for.

Anything Golden makes is golden. I just finished priming some panels with
Golden Gesso and what a difference. It finishes smooth and goes a long
    way.

No doubt, this product is great but in terms of the average price, it can really hurt the wallet, so for those of you with tighter budget I would recommend these tips:

-Never use them for a base coat.
-For more settle approach in large portions, work it with a lot of medium(gloss, matte, gel, etc). Their consistency goes a long way.
-Depending on what kind of work you want to express, get the basic three primary colors and and another that is to dominate the piece if its not already one of the primaries.
-Zinc white knocks back color saturation better then Titanium.
-Or simply discard this brand for now and take a little more time knowing how to work an art store brand. It takes time but considering the price variation and quantity its a big learning curve and easy on your finance.

Along with Liquitex, Golden is the main acrylic I use. I have used Dick Blick and Winsor & Newton among others, but prefer these. I try to use the best materials I can. Its cheaper in the long run. I mainly paint with oils, but do an occasional acrylic.

Golden is amazing - it is creamy, dense, and highly adapted to a variety of approaches.

I have been using Golden Acryllics to paint on pewter figurines, with a primer of course. The colors are vibrant and the paint quality is excellent and resists chipping.
