I prefer to mix paint with a painting knife rather than a pallet knive.

Excellent painting knife but I also like using this to create different textures on my canvas too

I love a good painting knife and these are sturdy with a variety of sizes and shapes. They feel good in your hand and I like to use my painting knife for mixing versus the palette knife.

I prefer to use the palette knife to throw paint onto the canvas than mixing it, but when mixing, it does come in handy, whether the paint's on the palette or the canvas.

this is my favorite shape palette knife... it's very versatile and makes mixing thick oil paints easier

I find painting knives helpful for scraping on a painting. I also sometimes create line in wet paint on the canvas which I sometimes paint or glaze over. A good tool for painting.

Great! durable, and easy to clean. even if it's gets caked in paint, it doesn't get damaged or loose! Still perfect after months of heavy use.

I love using painting knives to mix paint, apply it, and even scratch in new lines. Great to go over a painting with one of these and give it a unique look different from brush strokes.
