I have to admit that I love sable hair brushes. They are expensive, but they last a long time if you take good care of them. I had a professor that wouldn't buy filberts, only flats because they will turn into filberts. I like a good filbert brush though.

These brushes are truely superior brushes and such a great value. I've tried many Kol. Sable brushes and these are my absolute favorites. I use them over my Series seven brushes, and I really love my series seven brushes. They are extremely econimical!!!!!!!

I use these a lot. I paint almost exclusively with oil, so these are essential.

Very good quality, I usually work with Filbert and round sable, staying away from brights, as they tend to leave a streak of paint as you brush.
Advice: once in a while, after cleaning them with a soft mild soap, rub some conditioner, leave it for 20 minutes and rinse with warm water, it will greatly extend the life of your brushes.

These are very sensitive and have excellent snap and aren't terribly expensive. They repair well too after being bent or left with dried pain ton them for a while.

Givess a different type of stoke than a bristle. Also very helpful for glazing.

expensive but worth the price. quality hairs permit control, fine detail, at least for applying acrylics. and they last a long time, even with frequent use. highly recommended.

I used these for my egg tempera class- my teacher insisted that we use high quality brushes for our work- these brushes performed beautifully.

I have a quite few sable brushes and they are worth their weight in gold ten times over. Their strength and volume are unmatched
