These work great for shaping on the wheel. I also use to on leather hard clay to get great textures.

I use this tool constantly produces a very smooth surface and any contours I can imagine. I go through a lot of these, because they're also good for screening glazes.

I like the strength of the rib.

I liked this little gadget, and had both for my classroom a metal finishing rib and this hard rubber type one. Both were good and flexible and did the job they were sipposed too.
