"I can't tell you what to do."
September 07, 2008
Learn to love yourself before taking a risk to love somebody else.
Find your motivation in life & do whatever you can possibly do to get to it.
Don't let anybody (not even blood relatives) get in the way of what you want the most.
Find your strengths & weakness. Learn how to control them.
To hell with emotions, keep them on lock-down.
Depend only on yourself. You're the only person who is capable of falling down hard & picking yourself up again.
Listen to your head, follow your heart, but be cautious.
Try to see the good in people. Look at the big picture. But don't get lost in it.
Get your hopes up to a certain point, but always be prepared for a let down.
Be hopeful, but be realistic.
When you can rebuild yourself into the best person you can be without caring about what others think of you, then you can take a chance to love somebody else. It's all about confidence & knowing who you really are. Why would you want to feel like a stranger to yourself and expect somebody else to figure you out (and possibly try to create you).
You don't need somebody to complete you.
You're just lucky enough to find somebody that sees you for who you are
& appreciates you for who are & believes/supports in the person you strive to become.
You'd be extra lucky if somebody finds you, unexpectedly.
