About Me:

Graphic design is my life's passion.

I've done it professionally for nearly two decades. Until recently, I worked full-time in fabulous Las Vegas for Harrah's Entertainment, the world's largest chain of casino hotels. Specifically, I was the only in-house print advertising graphic artist for the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, Paris Las Vegas and Bally’s Las Vegas.

Created from my office at the Rio, my artwork was reproduced on billboards and moving vehicles (taxi-toppers and minibus wraps), in national and local magazine display ads, newspaper ads, posters, backlit signs, banners, brochures, booklets, rack cards, fliers and in a multitude of other print collateral pieces. I was responsible for maintaining a consistent brand look for these 3 hotels, their famous stage shows (e.g., Penn & Teller, Mel Brooks' The Producers, and Chippendales) and for the World Series of Poker occurring every summer at the Rio. In the area of branding, I also created logos. Occassionally, I wrote advertising copy to accompany my designs.

In March of this year, I resigned from the corporate world to venture out on my own. I became an American expatriate by relocating to the beautiful city of Chihuahua, Mexico, to follow my freelance dreams. (Note: I tried to change my profile's location from Las Vegas to Chihuahua, but ArtBistro's settings wouldn't allow me to do this.) Now I exclusively dedicate my talents to freelancing both print and web designs. My principal clients are Sunlark Research (an Arizona company for which I am its webmaster) and AdVision (an ad agency formed by my fiancée in Chihuahua, Mexico, for which I provide designs to multiple accounts).

    Thank you so much for the comment! It's interesting because I was actually into Drawing before Photography and only took Photo in HS because I didn't want to take any of the other electives. And then I ended up LOVING photography! So now I'm majoring in Photography and minoring in Drawing.
