About Me:
I am a distracted artist, a mother of three small kids, I love to paint. Usually oil on canvas. I have sold 58 original oil paintings and am producing a limited number of giclee prints. I like to paint allegorical or spiritual paintings. I love all art forms. I also do floral design using dried botanicals and make sculptures out of wire and clay, mostly of birds.

In an earlier time of my life I wrote poetry too, but now I don't have enough brain space. Maybe some other time. I have three kids, two dogs and three cats (all in 1600 square feet). My studio is the back porch. On the hobbies below, I like theater, eating out and reading in addition to the others, but never have the time or resources for those just now.

I never liked television much. I get sensory overload! Mostly, I listen to the ocean. It is a nice contrast to the cacophony of three small children, barking dogs, the sound of cars, and the other demands of an busy life.

Beyond that,I find my entertainment where I can, like reading Rorschach Prints in my marbled pound cake or putting wigs on my cats.
