Dear all new friends, I have immense gratitude to Randy Harris, going back to our working days together. We have both gone through major life changes at the same time. I have had a camera in my hand or in my car, or on my body since I was 15. This is the first year I have been without a camera. Seeing what is around me with out the camera eye at work has been an unexpected pleasure. I feel now that my eyes have become a fish eye lense, not looking for that perfect shot and light. Unfortunately, I work freehand 98 percent of the time without a tripod. Of all things I was diagnosed with MS the summer of 06". Also many other debilitating chronic issues including digenertive back disease since I was 14. After several tests I have been informed that the disease includes everything now from the neck to the tush. Insulin dependent Diabetis and a host of other lovely conditions. I am NOT revealing this for sympathy!!. Looking at all your portfolios has sparked something special. I have not looked at any of the hundreds of CD's and Dvd's that include photos and short films in 2 years. I have not started in any conscious way creating albums for this site. Just taking the first step, is the miracle for now. Unfortunately I am housebound a great deal of the time. I am going through 9 surgical procedures to help with my back. The outcome is that forced silence and meditations has added a dimension to my life that will only improve the real quality of my life.....So Thank you for participating in this part of my journey! Kyra, thank you for the puzzle suggestion. My dad actually made that comment about one of my pieces awhile back, and I hadn't thought about it much since. Do you have a place you could recommend for me to go to get such a puzzle made? (You're the best!)
Im delight w/ur photos...so full of bright colors...u sure r talented w/a camera there r to many favs to choose from, but ill be seeing what new images u post in the future ^^ btw thanx for the req. *huG*
You have some very good images and all in various styles however for me the profile pictures with the sunsets are breath-taking. the colours, clarity and majestic sense it gives through each image. I also have to mention your capture of the hummers too as i know how they can dart about in an instant you stil managed to capture some memorable moments. a couple of my other favourites were the cavern shot and the beautiful moment in the flower album.
This experience I am having on this site has been so healing! Many of my friends are asking what's up...and I just smile:}
Tomorrow I am having such a special day...rain or shine. My daughter is bringing and giving me a camera I bought her 2 years ago. (mine was stolen in a major robbery). We are going around in my wheelchair so I can take pictures! Happy Mother's Day to all you Momas out there
