As a student of architecture, my duty is to question. Do people ever truly SEE building or is architecture invisible? Who is design for? Is beauty the responsibility of the designer or the viewer? Who judges beauty? Do we need beauty? Would our existence still BE without the notion of beauty? I take serious the duty of asking these questions for it is the answers that shape the world. Architecture is the physical expression of ideals: the sublime manifestation of beautiful human-ness. Therefore, beauty IS the reason.
