- About Me:
- First and foremost, you may be asking yourself..."What's with the name?" The name "e. Studioz" was chosen to reflect not only myself, but the various creative directions I seem to embark towards. Using my first initial of my name, I began to examine the shape of the letter "e". A shape that starts in one direction...but then turns in on itself and stops. As a metaphor, this can seem pretty deep. The "Studioz" part of the title was conceived as a way to express that even though there is just one artist, there are many different creative rooms in that studio. Why the letter, Z instead of the letter S, eh? Hm-mmmm...you got me on that one! Perhaps a vain attempt at being hip and trendy with the English language? Onward... OK...so why do I do what I do? Being an artist is a unique thing. It can be viewed as a blessing or a curse. Art has a way of occupying your life. I have been an artist since the age of four. Drawing was my way of expressing myself. As I became older and more aware in the world, I felt that I had more to say through my art. In fact, I had a responsibility to express myself. Thus, my studio was built. A studio with an infinite variety of doors and windows. Each studio door that opens reveals a different world inside. Sometimes abstract, humorous, controversial, but always intriguing! My art is non-negotiable.
