About Me:
Carolina Matthes is an illustrator and graphic artist based in Berlin. She got into computer graphic design and more specifically into vector illustration few years ago. She produces realistic yet contemporary imagery on a variety of subjects, from food to architecture, portrait to technic. Her work is bold and she likes to capture the beauty in whatever she is illustrating. "I am a creative Person. I have lots of ideas going through my head. And what ever idea comes up to be a fresh, unusual and interesting I would depict it straight away on paper with a pencil. The main philosophy of my artwork is to make it both conceptual and attractive. All other things like colour, shape and even technique complement to the main idea."
