    Well I'm not in the animation business but I know that there's several ways cartoons are made today. Tradition cel & paint is all but extinct. Even in Japan, there's like only anime that's done in that way (Sanze san, and that's only because it has been running since the late 60's). I know that even though the coloring is digitally, they're still hand drawn on paper and then scanned where the line art is made. There's also Adobe Flash but IMO it looks really cheap and only good for fun animated shorts done by amateurs. Sadly most animation in the U.S. is using that since again, it's cheap and fast. I prefer things that look like they've taken a lot of work to create. Thanks for posting on my comment wall.
