January's Artbistro Art Gallery was guest curated by C.J. Martin, a 28 year old artist from Virginia. He has this to say about the show:

Before I started selecting pieces I decided that I should base the show around an idea or theme to give it a contiguousness that I felt was important. I started searching out pieces, making notes and saving files. I selected about 15 paintings, photos, drawings and three-dimensional works. When I finished I noticed that there were repeating elements through out and that those worked much better than my original plan. I feel there is a conversation going on between these artworks, I love the way that everything interacts in this show and I hope you enjoy it as well.
