    One other thing that helps my photos is that I use a long exposure time sometimes. The One with the house was done in pitch black with a bulb lense exposure for at least two minutes. The inn one just used an equalize filter in photoshop.

    I use a slight photoshop in all my work, but some have a lot more than others. For photographs I use the automatic levels and colors only usually just to bring out the color a bit more.
