Funny question... because freelancing is just that - not very reliable but offering so many opportunities... :o)

Working as a freelance designer can be difficult and at times hard to find work. However, all it takes is one or two good contacts, pure luck situations etc. to get you started and keep you working.

Don't limit yourself to one specific market and have your business card with you at all times.

Freelance is the way the creative industry could be headed. It's makes you well rounded and experienced! Why work for the same boss everyday and do what they want when you can find the clients you want to work for and enjoy what you do.

i enjoy the new experiences and meeting new people but the stability of this wa of working is difficult

The opportunities are endless, but the stability is not ideal unless you have a fabulous website or live in a city.

Because it's a personal experience where good managing of your own times and self promoting matters much more than ever. And that you have to do it by yourself.

Well, it isn't very simple. As a matter of fact it's very complicated. You have to manage yourself and that's the tricky thing. But eventually, you can get excellent profits.
