Edward Stone has been exploring the associative objects and collective experiences, and how one relates to a particular locale. Themes of mapping and memory, in part promote, or sometimes hinder our personal impressions and relationships. By expressing these, encounters with the natural and social environments will be more eye opening and realized in the moment. Experiences thread through artwork, in this way the audience will be interacting with the art, and I hope with new levels and what they bring and inspiration they have within themselves.
